Los Angeles is a city located in the southern end of the State of California. It is the second-largest U.S. city by population and the largest by land area. It is also regarded as the entertainment capital of the world and is a major cultural, economic and political center. The LA metropolitan area holds about 15 million or so people, making it one of the largest in the United States.
