Background on Project

Under SGCC, Luneng was planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 2,000 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.[1] However, Luneng left the industry in 2012 and its assets were transferred to Shenhua. This project, along with others from the Luneng era, appears to have been abandoned.
