Background on Plant

Lüsigang power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 2,640 MW in Jiangsu Province. The plant was completed in 2010, and is owned by China Datang.[1]

Proposed expansion

Two ultra-supercritical units of 1260 MW each have been announced at the same location.[2][3]

However, with no developments since May 2015, the project appears to be cancelled.
