Lynn Povich
Lynn Povich "is an independent media consultant. Until recently she was managing editor/senior executive producer of East Coast programming for MSNBC on the Internet, a joint 24-hour news and information cable network venture between Microsoft and NBC.
"Prior to joining MSNBC, Povich was editor-in-chief of Working Woman magazine. While at Working Woman, Povich was responsible for the magazine's redesign and for turning the monthly into the only national business magazine for women.
"Povich started her journalism career at Newsweek, where she became the first woman senior editor in the newsweekly's history. She serves on the Board of Advisors of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was 1996 executive-in-residence at Vassar College.“ [1]
