Magda M. A. Ali

Dr. Magda M. A. Ali "is the founding member and member of Steering Committee and Planning and Programs Officer at Maan Group, for women 1996, a Sudanese NGO in Cairo working with Sudanese women refugees. She started her career in the Ministry of Health, Sudan in 1980, as an Assistant Director to the Primary Health Department and became the Director of the National Control of Diarrhoeal Disease (CDD) 1985 -1989. Since 1990 to the present, she has been involved in working with several non governmental organizations as a consultant AMAL group for Displaced Children, Plan Parenthood Sudan, Care International or as a founder. She was a co-founder of Al Wafaa Group, 1989 Al Manar Group 1990, WAG (women action group),1994 founding member of GAPS (Group for Alternative Policies for Sudan)1996, an independent association of Sudanese professionals, academics and NGOs in Diaspora. Dr Ali presented a number of papers and studies on Public Health issues.“ [1]
