"Mr. Mark Campanale is the Founder and Executive Director at Carbon Tracker Initiative. He is an Associate Director at London Bridge Capital Ltd. Prior to forming Carbon Tracker, he had twenty five years experience in sustainable financial markets. He is a co-founder of some of the first responsible investment fund at Jupiter Asset Management in 1989, NPI, AMP Capital, and Henderson Global Investors. He served on the World Business Council for Sustainable Development working group on capital markets leading up to the 1992 Earth Summit; was a Member of the Steering Committee of UNEP Financial Sector Initiative (1999-2003), and continues to advise a number of investment funds including Armstrong Energy. Mr. Campanale was a Founder Director of the UK Sustainable and Responsible Investment Forum (UKSIF), 1990-2006, is a member of the Advisory Council of SASB (Sustainable Accounting Standards Board) and ImpactBase.org and the UNEP-WRI working group on greenhouse gas emissions and the financial sector. He is the Treasurer of The Rainforest Foundation UK. Mark has a BA in Politics & Economic History and an M.Sc in Agricultural Economics." [1]

Mark Campanale "works at Henderson Global Investors, an asset management company with some £1.1 billion of funds under sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) guidelines. Prior to Henderson, Mark worked with the Ecology Funds at Jupiter Asset Management in 1989, before moving to NPI in 1994 where he launched a number of SRI funds under the Global Care brand raising over £800 million.

"Mark was a founder of the UK Social Investment Forum in 1991, a co-author of the first study on the "Marketplace for Ethical & Green Funds in Europe" in 1993. A board member of the FairShare Educational Foundation campaign, Mark is a trustee of the Rainforest Foundation. Mark has a degree in Politics & Economic History and a Masters in Agricultural Economics." [1]

"Mark has worked in the sustainable financial markets since 1989 and is an advisor on impact investing to Halloran Philanthropies. He works on incubating and developing social impact investment strategies and building market infrastructure, including funds focusing on renewables (for GVEP) and social ventures (for Big Issue Invest). He is a director of The Social Stock Exchange funded by Rockefeller Foundation with the support of Halloran Philanthropies; a representative on membership bodies such as the Advisory Council of GIIN (UK) and the international Advisory Board of ImpactBase, the sectors funds database of impact funds. Mark is a regular speaker on events on social finance such as SoCap and the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship and serves on the Advisory Board member of 3iG, the International Interfaith Investment Group;and is an Advisor to Big Issue Invest, the social venturing arm of the Big Issue."
