Biographical Information
Mr Mark Jeffries - Interim Chairman of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust: Appointed Interim Chairman 1st February 2013.

Mark was a trustee for the Norfolk Community Foundation for five years from 2006, and currently serves on the board of the New Anglia LEP as one of seven private sector members of a 14 member board. His association with NNUH began in 2011 when he joined the Board as Non Executive Director." [1]
"Mark Jeffries was educated at Hymers College, Hull and St John's College, Cambridge, and became a partner in Mills & Reeve in 1985. He managed the Norwich office from 1990 to 1996 and then led the group of lawyers across the firm who deliver services to corporate clients. In 1998 he assumed responsibility for the firm’s newly-established Birmingham office which has a particular focus on healthcare law. He was elected firm wide managing partner in 2001, a post which he held up to taking on his current role in 2007.
"Outside his work at Mills & Reeve Mark was closely involved in setting up the Norfolk Education Industry and Commerce Group of which he is a former trustee and company secretary. He was also a trustee of the Norfolk Community Foundation for six years. He is a board member of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership which covers Suffolk and Norfolk and sits on the CBI’s East of England Regional Council and the Bank of England’s Regional Economic Advisory Panel for the East and South East."
