Biographical Information
"Mary K. Stevens was a teacher at the Brearley School and a nurse, providing obstetric and postpartum care, at the New York Infirmary in the 1970s. She was also a nurse and counselor at Planned Parenthood of New York City as well as a volunteer for the organization's Speakers Bureau, speaking regularly at high schools, colleges, and institutions on reproductive health topics. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hunter College and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Pace University." [1]
