Matt J. Lauer is a Director of Qorvis Communications.
Prior to joining Qorvis, Lauer was "responsible for administering and overseeing the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy".[1]
According to his biographical note prior to that "Lauer was the senior director of media relations at America’s Promise, where he worked with three of the organization’s former chairmen – General Colin L. Powell, Governor Marc Racicot and Senator Harris Wofford – to communicate the essential needs of young people at the local and national levels."
He has also worked as communications director of the South Carolina Democratic Party, press secretary to a former lieutenant governor of South Carolina and worked on the Senate campaign of John Edwards.
