Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti (MVC), founded in May 2004, is a "bipartisan government relations firm that provides clients with a full range of services including coalition management, legislative and executive branch lobbying and guidance for political activities." [1]
"Republicans were outraged when CBS aired its now discredited story attacking President Bush’s National Guard service. Not Alex Vogel. His new lobbying firm won its first major media client when it was hired by CBS parent Viacom to repair the damage," Bill McConnell wrote June 27, 2005, in Broadcasting & Cable.
"The former chief counsel to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) left Capitol Hill and teamed up with former White House technology policy chief Bruce Mehlman in May 2004 to form a lobbying shop with impeccable GOP connections," McConnell wrote.

In September 2008, the American Petroleum Institute "hired Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti to lobby on energy drilling proposals, tax issues and chemical security legislation," reported The Hill. "The lobbying team includes Jamie Brown, a former special assistant for legislative affairs to President Bush; Kelly Bingel, former chief of staff to Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.); and David Castagnetti, former chief of staff to Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.)." [1]
PoliticalMoneyLine reported in May 2007 that the lobbying firm of Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti had registered to lobby for Compete America. MVC "will lobby in the areas of immigration and science, and specifically on H.R. 1645, H.R. 1930, and S. 1083." Also see U.S. immigration legislation.
