Background on Project

According to a World Resources Institute report (2012), China Guodian is currently planning to build a coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 600 MW in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

However, there have been no reports of further activity to develop those plans, and they appear to be shelved or abandoned.
