Mengtai Beijiao power station

Background on Project

Mengtai Coal Power Group has been permitted to build a 2 x 330 MW coal plant in Dongsheng District. Coal supply would be domestic.

The units were completed in 2015.

Expansion

Two additional 330 MW subcritical coal units are under construction near the power station, although they do not have a permit for construction.

However, there has been no construction progress on units 3-4 since January 2017, and plans appear shelved.
