Michael E. Kinsley
Michael E. Kinsley is an American journalist who is married to Patricia Q. Stonesifer.
"Michael Kinsley, editor of Slate for six years, founded the online magazine in 1996 and continues to write for it. He also is a contributing writer at TIME magazine. In his varied career, he spent six years as co-host of the CNN program Crossfire and two four-year stints as editor of the New Republic. He also has been editor of Harper's magazine, managing editor of the Washington Monthly, and American survey editor of the Economist in London. In 1999, Columbia Journalism Review named him Editor of the Year.
"For 11 years, Mr. Kinsley wrote the "TRB From Washington" column for the New Republic, which appeared in the Washington Post and other newspapers as well. He also has written a regular column for the Wall Street Journal. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler, Vanity Fair, and many other publications.
"Mr. Kinsley attended Harvard University, Oxford University, and Harvard Law School and is a member of the District of Columbia bar." [1]
