Michael G. Carberry
Michael G. Carberry is the President of CARMA International. Carberry is a former adjunct professor of marketing at Georgetown University and a retired Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. [1]
Carberry has worked in the PR industry, marketing and media research for 35 years. After working with several advertising agencies he worked briefly in 1972 with the US Postal Service. In late 1972 he joined Porter Novelli, moved to become a partner and Executive Vice President, and later CEO, at Henry J. Kaufman & Associates. After it merged with Shandwick in 1986 he worked as Executive Vice President for Shandwick North America.
Between 1998 and 2002 he was Chairman of Earle Palmer Brown's Washington office. In 2002 he joined Burson-Marsteller's subsidiary Direct Impact.
