Michael Husband, a GWOT veteran of Alexandria, Virginia, was named in August 2007 as Virginia state co-chair of pro-war in Iraq Vets for Freedom. The "leadership team in Virginia"—Husband and co-chair Jim Murray, an Iraq war veteran from Falls Church, Virginia—"will be responsible for organizing local veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan to contact their Senators and Representatives and to share their support for the mission with their fellow Virginians."[1][2]
