"In addition to Lucasfilm's motion-picture and television productions, which have garnered 19 Oscars and 12 Emmy Awards, Chau guides the activities of Industrial Light & Magic and Skywalker Sound, the entertainment industry's leading visual-effects and audio post-production facilities; LucasArts Entertainment, which develops and publishes entertainment software for computer and console platforms worldwide; Lucas Online, creator of the widely acclaimed starwars.com; Lucasfilm Animation, which will create animated feature and television productions; and Lucas Licensing, which manages the global merchandising activities for Lucasfilm's entertainment properties.

"Chau began her Lucasfilm career in 1991 as chief financial officer and was named to her current position in 2003. Prior to joining Lucasfilm, Chau was an accomplished business executive with experience in several industries, and most recently was chief financial/administrative officer for Bell Atlantic Healthcare Systems. She also has held positions within retail, restaurant, venture-capital and financial-services companies.
