Mike Hibbs is a Liberal Democrat politician in the UK. He served as chairman of Uttlesford District Council in 2003/04 [1], a parliamentary candidate for the Billericay constituency [2] and a former mayor of Saffron Walden. He also attempted to get his name on the party list for the East of England in the 2004 European Parliament elections - he came ninth out of 10 candidates in the first round of selection. [3] Mr Hibbs is an architect by profession. [4] His partner, Hilary Shibata, is currently mayor of Saffron Walden.[5]
