That is how she mostly chooses to show her love for mankind... "Mirela has been involved in her local community for many years now, in particular her work with children helping them to develop, progress and achieve their goals. She is active in projects in Thailand after the Tsunami in 2004, helping locals to re build their lives. "She has been participating in the Basket Brigade for many years, giving out food baskets at Christmas to feed families in need. Mirela is also involved in Love Brigade, UK based project, where volunteers sponsor, supply and give out essentials to the homeless on the streets of London. In 2013 Mirela was awarded Ambassador for Peace by Universal Peace Federation (UPF), NGO with a special consultative status with the UN."
