Background

According to the Press Reader (March 2018), Australia-based Canham Mining International received a license from the Swaziland Energy Regulatory Authority to mine anthracite coal in the country. The company wants to use the coal to build a 2 x 250 MW coal plant, with most of the power exported to neighboring South Africa and Mozambique.
