Background on Plant

In 2012 Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) said it plans to build five more coal-fired power plants, including a 600 MW Mukah West I and 600MW Mukah West II.[1] Since the Mukah West power station is not mentioned on Sarawak Energy's list of upcoming projects, the project appears to be abandoned.[2]
