Mulu Ketsela "is an Alternate Executive Director with the World Bank Group for 22 African countries. She is responsible for choosing which projects receive funding in the region and shaping the policy of the Bank in Africa. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Ms. Ketsela served as the State Minister of Finance and Economic Development of Ethiopia, where she negotiated cooperation with bilateral and multilateral partners. Born in Ethiopia, Ketsela served as Economic Advisor to the President of Ethiopia from 1992 to 1995, and has served as an Economic Consultant for the United Nations Development Programme."[1]
