Background on Plant

Myronivskyi power station is a three-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 275 MW. The plant was completed between 1953 and 1957, and is owned by DTEK. The 60 MW unit 2 is in reserve status. Unit 3 was overhauled in 2013.[1]

Unit 1 was down for repairs in 2016. Unit 2 has been mothballed.[2]
