Narrabri North mine

{{#badges: CoalSwarm|Navbar-Australiacoal}} Narrabri North mine (stage 1) is proposed by Whitehaven Coal. The project is located 20 km south east of Narrabri in New South Wales.

The project is currently under construction and due to be commissioned in 2010. The mine will produce 1.5 million tonnes of thermal coal and cost $227 to construct. It is projected that the mine will employ 80 people during construction and 100 when operating.[1]
