Background on Plant

Nayong-2 power station is a four-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 1,200 MW. It is part of Nayong General Power Station, which consists of Nayong-1 power station and Nayong-2 power station. The two power stations are both located in Yangchang Town, 9 kilometers apart. Nayong-2 was completed between 2005 and 2006, and is owned by Guizhou Jinyuan Group.[1] In 2008, CPI became Guizhou Jinyuan Group's controlling shareholder.[2][3][4]
