Background on Plant

The seven-unit, 1,210-MW coal-fired Nazarovskaya power station is owned by SUEK. The plant’s seven units were brought online between 1961 and 1968. In 2013 Unit 7 was rebuilt with a new capacity of 415 MW, up from 400 MW.
