Ned Leavitt Agency
"When Ned Leavitt left the William Morris Agency after 13 years of "warrior" training, the first thing he did was take flying lessons. Then he founded The Ned Leavitt Agency. After working in a large commercial atmosphere, Ned wanted to create a more intimate setting, allowing for increased personal contact with authors and a deeper connection to the writing process. Located in the Soho area of Manhattan, home of many artists and galleries, the agency consists of Ned Leavitt -- founder and Jillian Sweeney -- agency associate. Although representing a number of bestselling authors, Ned has kept the agency small to maintain a creative and flexible working environment. "We are small in size, but intensely dedicated to our authors and to supporting excellent and unique writing."" [1] "A graduate of Harvard University with an MFA in theater from the University of Hawaii, Ned has been at times an actor, singer, cab driver, theatrical director, choral conductor, poker player, drummer, and vision quest guide."
