Ned W. Bandler "of Connecticut continues as a senior advisor to corporations and non-governmental organizations since retiring as senior vice president and director of Unilever, United States, Inc.
"Mr. Bandler is President of the Funeral Consumer Alliance of CT, a consumer information group; and Vice Chairman and Director of the African Medical and Research Foundation, a Nairobi, Kenya based, multinational medical services and training consortium.
"He was appointed by President Clinton in 1996, and reappointed by President Bush to the United States Commission on the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad, and is a member of the United States-Bulgaria Joint Cultural Heritage Commission. He has also served as a member of the United States Department of Commerce Marketing Advisory Committee during the Johnson and Nixon Administrations. He was also active as a senior advisor to the Institute for Representative Government, a government funded group providing technical advice and support for congressional/parliamentary institutions in emerging democracies.
"In Bridgewater, CT, he serves as Chairman of the town Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Bridgewater Republican Town Committee, Justice of the Peace, and Deacon Emeritus of the Bridgewater Congregational Church.
