Neil Hrab
In September 2003 Neil Hrab was selected as the Warren T. Brookes fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute.
According to a biographical note Hrab "was formerly an editorial writer for the National Post of Canada and has also served as a summer research fellow at Capital Research Center. He is the recipient of the Young Communicators Fellowship and the GAPS Foundation Fellowship. Neil holds a BA in political science and history and an MA in political science, both from the University of Toronto. His work has been published widely in online and print sources reaching audiences throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe." [1].
Since starting with CEI Hrab is one of a handful of conservative think tank staff critiquing non-government organizations (NGO), especially those he considers 'radical' because of their use of civil disobedience. In his criticism Hrab has singled out groups such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the Rainforest Action Network, the Sea Shepherd Society and the Ruckus Society. Hrab's work has also appeared in Organization Trends and Foundation Watch, publications of the conservative think tank, the Capital Research Center.
He has also written criticising wind power, advocating free trade and lower taxes.
