Neyveli lignite mine

{{#badges: CoalSwarm|Navbar-Indiacoal}}The Neyveli lignite mine is a 10.5 million tonne per year lignite to supply the 600 megawatt (MW) Neyveli Thermal Power Station and the 420MW Thermal Power Station I Expansion. The mine, which has been operating since 1962, is owned and operated by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation. The mine is located near the town of Neyveli in Cuddalore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
