Background on Plant
The ten-unit, 535-MW coal-fired Novosibirsk-3 power station is owned by SGK, which acquired a 78% stake in the station's operator Sibeko in January 2018.[1]. The plant’s ten units were brought online between 1942 and 2005. Four units have been retired.[2][3]
In August 2018 SGK was acquired by Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK).[4]
