Owen spent five years with Granville Baird (now Baird Capital Partners), firstly in the UK and then in Germany. More recently, Owen was a partner in the Mezzanine Fund of the Royal Bank of Canada, based in Toronto. During that time, he held a number of non-executive directorships."
