P. J. O'Rourke
P.J. O'Rourke "is a correspondent for The Atlantic magazine and a contributing editor at The Weekly Standard. He is the author of eleven books including Parliament of Whores, Holidays in Hell, Eat the Rich, and, most recently, Peace Kills, a collection of first-hand reports on America's post-Cold War foreign policy initiatives.
"He is the former editor-in-chief of the National Lampoon and was a foreign correspondent for Rolling Stone magazine from 1985 to 2000. He is currently the Mencken Research Fellow at the Cato Institute and a regular panelist on the NPR news quiz show "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me." He graduated from Miami University and received an M.A. from The Johns Hopkins University where he was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow." [1]
He is on the board of trustees of Freedom House and is on the Capital Research Center's National Advisory Board.
He is also a member of the American Committee for Peace in Chechnya.
