Background on Project

In 2014, China Resources finished building a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total planned capacity of 700 MW in Liaoning Province.[1][2]

Proposed expansion

China Resources is seeking permitting for two 150 MW back-up units.[3]

With no developments since January 2017, the project appears to be shelved.
