Biographical Information
"Paul Dali has over 40 years of successful technology related experience along with senior leadership positions at Apple Computer and Regis McKenna. His extensive background in developing management teams, evaluating operational efficiency, marketing channels, global market positioning, strategic collaborations and leveraging companies' core competencies has made him an indispensable board member and company advisor. He was a founder and managing principal of KeyNote Ventures, a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. He has over 20 years experience in venture capital firms. As a general partner he was responsible for backing a number of early stage technology companies whose products proved to be breakthroughs in areas of computer sound, graphics and entertainment, video security, and infrastructure software.
"Earlier in his career he spent over 20 years in company management and operations. As President and CEO he built Regis McKenna into the largest high-technology marketing and communications company in the United States (sold to KPMG).
"Mr. Dali was General Manager of the Personal Computer Division of Apple Computer and was responsible for the Apple II and Apple III product lines including manufacturing, engineering and worldwide distribution. He also served as Chair of Apple's Marketing Council.
"Both his operating and venture capital background have made Mr. Dali an effective director and advisor on the boards and councils on which he has served. Currently he is an active board member of Kaazing and Hobsons. He is a strategic advisor to Infusionsoft, one of the fastest growing software companies in the US and recently became a strategic advisor to IBM's Watson Division.
"He was also a director and participated in the public offerings of Cybermedia, MediaVision, Storm Software, @POS and Repeater Technology. Additionally, he was a board member of BroadWare Technologies (sold to Cisco) and Webify (sold to IBM).
