Paulette J. Meyer
Paulette J. Meyer "has worked on women’s rights, economic justice, and philanthropic consulting for 30 years. She founded Women’s Initiative for Self Employment (WISE), a San Francisco nonprofit that trains and finances low-income women to start microenterprises. Paulette is currently Chair of the WDN Board. She is also Chair of Equal Rights Advocates (ERA), a national women’s rights law firm. ERA engages in high impact litigation and has cases against the likes of Wal-Mart, AT&T, and a Las Vegas-based casino operator. Paulette is a Board Member of the Center for Community Change where she is Chair of the Finance Committee and the Endowment Board. She also manages a small family foundation and participates in a PRA study group. She lives in San Francisco with David Friedman, and two yellow labs. They have three college age children: Max, at Colby; Kate, at Occidental; and Meryl, at Haverford." [1]
