Appointed as a BG Group "Non-Executive Director in July 2000. Skills and experience: Peter is a former executive vice president of refining and marketing at BP plc. Prior to this, he was chief executive of BP Oil Europe and head of UK North Sea oil development. He gained considerable experience in international LNG and natural gas development, latterly as head of BP’s UK gas business."
