Polly Povejsil Heath
Polly Povejsil Heath, "senior vice president and chief financial officer, is responsible for financial, accounting and administrative functions at WETA.
"Heath came to WETA following more than 20 years of financial and general management experience in media and publishing. She spent much of her career with The Washington Post Company, serving in both the business and editorial operations of the newspaper, in the company's new media businesses and as the corporate controller. Heath was the general manager of The Washington Post-Newsweek Interactive division during the initial operation stages of washingtonpost.com in 1996. She also worked for AOL, and was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. She began her career on the audit staff of Price Waterhouse & Co. in Pittsburgh where she became a CPA.
"Heath holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Brown University in public policymaking and economics. She resides with her husband in Chevy Chase, Maryland." [1]
