PopPlanet.org "was founded through a joint venture between the Population Reference Bureau and the National Council for Science and the Environment and initially supported through the USAID-funded MEASURE Communication project and the Summit Foundation. PopPlanet.org is now a part of the National Library of the Environment (NLE) and wholly managed by the National Council for Science and the Environment."
