Project 0107

{{#badges: Tobaccowiki}} Project 0107 was a confidential, internal Philip Morris scientific project undertaken from 1964 to 1965 to develop cigarettes that "have less tendency to cause lung cancer in smokers" than did cigarettes currently available at the time. The project leader was E.W. Robb. The project focused on polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and nitrosamines. [1][2]
