Project Underground was a San Franciso based non-government organisation that investigated and campaigned on environmental, human rights and indigenous rights impacts of the mining and oil and gas industries.
Following a dramatic fall in foundation funding in approximately 2003, the group ceased to operate. For several years the group's website continued to operate, but this was shut down in 2006. However, the group's website has been archived in the WaybackMachine here.
