Background on Project

Shanxi Luxin Group has proposed a captive coal-fired power station of four 350 MW units in Dushan County to support steel production. The first two units are planned for operation by December 2015, and the second two in 2018.[1][2]

Although the project is listed as a provincial key project in 2014,[3] it disappeared from the list of Qiannan AP key projects in 2017, indicating its uncertain future.[4]
