Background on Project

In 2004 Qinghai Wanli Investment Company, Wenzhou Qiaodian Electric Co., and Qinghai Power agreed to establish a new joint venture for the purpose of developing and operating power plants in Qinghai. Plans included a coal-fired power station, woth the forst two 135 MW units slated for completion in 2006.

However, there appears to be no news since the announcement, and the project appears to have been cancelled.
