Background on Project
In 2004 Qinghai Wanli Investment Company, Wenzhou Qiaodian Electric Co., and Qinghai Power agreed to establish a new joint venture for the purpose of developing and operating power plants in Qinghai. Plans included a coal-fired power station, woth the forst two 135 MW units slated for completion in 2006.[1]
However, there appears to be no news since the announcement, and the project appears to have been cancelled.
