Background on Project

Qinglong County Industrial Investment Co. was founded by the Qinglong local government in 2014. The goal of the company is to start the preliminary work of a coal-fired power station of two 350 MW units and one 25 MW back-up unit while recruiting a sponsor for the project. The plant would be used to support a proposed metallurgic production, which is also recruiting for a sponsor.[1][2][3]

As of May 2018 the power station has yet to secure a sponsor, and plans appear abandoned.
