Qingzhen power station

Its relocated expansion project is called Tangzhai power station, which is a 2*600MW coal-fired power station commissioned in 2012-2013.

Background on Plant
Qingzhen power station was founded in 1970. It had eight coal-fired power units with a total capacity of 658 MW. The units were commissioned from 1970-1989. The first phase was 4*32MW. The second phase was 2*65MW. The third phase was 2*200MW. They were retired in 2004-2010. The plant was owned by China Huadian (51%) and Guizhou Investment Group (49%).[1][2][3]
Details of Expansion Project
In May 2009, a 2*600MW expansion project of this plant received permit to start construction in a relocated site at Wangzhuang Town, Qingzhen City. [4]The two units were completed in 2012 and 2013. It is also called Tangzhai power station.[5]
