Quadir Amiryar
Quadir Amiryar "is a member of the Advisory Board, the Committee on Review of Law of Higher Education, and of the Committee to Review the Curriculum of Law Schools of the Afghanistan House of Representatives in Kabul. Additionally, Dr. Amiryar acts as senior legal education expert of the Afghanistan Rule of Law Program of the United States Agency for International Development in Washington, DC. Previously, he served as a member of the Afghanistan Judicial Reform Commission and as director of policy oversight for the National Security Council in the Office of the President of Afghanistan. A delegate to the United Nations Group of Four for Peace in Afghanistan from 1999 to 2001, Dr. Amiryar was also appointed in 2002 as a member to the United Nations Legal Affairs Working Group for Afghanistan. He is a member of the executive boards of the Afghanistan Foundation and of the Central Asia Research and Development Center. Dr. Amiryar holds a Ph.D. in law and international affairs, an M.A. in philosophy, and an M.A. in international and comparative law from George Washington University in Washington, DC." [1]
