Rachel Dodds
Dr. Rachel Dodds "is an Assistant Professor at Ryerson University in the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management in Toronto, Canada. She is also the Director of Sustaining Tourism, a consultancy firm. Rachel's past clients include the World Bank, EU/CTO, WWF, as well as governments, small businesses and NGO's worldwide. Past work experience includes the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders International Tourism Partnership, Toronto's Green Tourism Association as well as tour operators, hotels and destination governments in over four continents. Rachel is an expert in sustainable tourism and her research focus is on climate change, corporate social responsibility and sustainable tourism development. Rachel holds a PhD from the University of Surrey in England as well as a Masters degree in Tourism Management from Griffith University in Australia. Rachel is also the founding member of Canada's Icarus Foundation which focuses on climate change and tourism and she is a past Board Member of the Travel and Tourism Research Association. She has lectured and published on the subject of tourism worldwide and has traveled to over 60 countries." [1]
