She has won several awards as a journalist for BusinessWorld, a leading business daily, including the Jaime V. Ongpin Awards for Excellence in Journalism and the Citibank Pan-Asia Journalism Award. She has fellowships under the Salzburg Seminar, the Asian University Network and the Philippine Press Institute. She holds a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University under the Fulbright program."[1]
