Rachel Schneider

"Rachel Schneider is currently the director of the Hawthorne Valley Farm Learning Center in New York. The Learning Center was founded to "inspire, strengthen and transform the individual's relationship to the living land" and includes farm-based activities for families, school classes, and the general public, as well as training in biodynamics and whole-farm planning. Prior to founding the Learning Center, Rachel was a market gardener, greenhouse manager, annual coordinator of Hawthorne Valley’s well-attended Fall Harvest Festival, farm administrator, and farm development director. Rachel serves on the Board of Directors of the Farm-Based Education Association."
