Ralph E. Chatham
Dr. Ralph E. Chatham, Ph.D., is a "Program Manager in DARPA's Defense Sciences Office. Prior to joining DARPA, Dr. Chatham has been a physicist, a Naval officer, a research program manager, and a small business corporate officer. Over the past seven years he as gradually taken up the cause of military training and has co-chaired the Defense Science Board Task Force on Training Superiority and Training Surprise (2001)[1] and Training for Future Conflicts (2002). During a previous term at DARPA (1984-1988) he was the Program Manager for the Satellite-to-Submarine Laser Communication (SLC) Program."[2]
"Dr. Chatham obtained his doctorate in experimental physics from the University of New York at Stony Brook and his bachelor's degree in engineering physics from the University of Kansas, with highest distinction."[3]
