Rand Paul
Randal Howard "Rand" Paul (born January 7, 1963) is the junior United States Senator for Kentucky. He is a member of the Republican Party, and the son of former U.S. Representative and presidential candidate Ron Paul of Texas. Rand Paul first received national attention in 2008 when making political speeches on behalf of his father, who was campaigning for the Republican Party's nomination for president. Rand Paul is the first United States senator to have served simultaneously with a parent in the United States House of Representatives.
Paul co-authored a book entitled The Tea Party Goes to Washington (2011) with Jack Hunter, also known as the "Southern Avenger." Paul is also the author of Government Bullies: How Everyday Americans Are Being Harassed, Abused, and Imprisoned by the Feds (2012).wiki
